County assessor present: Tom Berhands

Others present: John McDonough, Gerald LeMieux, Kay Gamroth

 

Chairman Jeff LaCanne opened the meeting at 9:00 A.M. with the pledge of allegiance to the flag.

The assessor reviewed the following cases:

John McDonough                                            I.D. # 10.06.4.75.001                        question: woods value increase, farm land value increase.

Land value rates for cropland, woods and cell tower cites were reviewed. Rates were accepted

1550 Shieldsville Blvd.

 

Gerald LeMieux                                                I.D. # 10.34.1.00.009        Question on increased value of property.

3186 Cedar Lake Blvd                                                                                                                                      Question answered during the McDonough discussion.

 

Kay Gamroth                                     I.D. # 10.08.2.75.002        Question: Why did property value increase so

5550 Kelly Lake Trl                                                                                                                                            much? In reviewing the rates it was determined that the 1st site acre on Kelly lake was valued to high. It was decided to revalue the lot as above normal which would drop the evaluation approximately $20,000.00

Two other people called the assesors  office because they were unable to make the meeting. Their property was also reviewed.

I.D. #10.16.1.77.013 Slew              The values of both properties were reviewed. It was determined that the value of the slew should be reduced.

Harold Chappuis                               I.D.#10.21.4.00.004                          The value of the home was reviewed and determined to be appropriate.
