Board of Appeals and Adjustment
April 13, 2017
On Thursday April 13, 2017 the Wells Town Board met at the Wells Town Hall for the Board of Appeal and Equalization meeting at 9:00 A.M.
Board Members present were: Jeff LaCanne, Rich Cap and James Zahn.
Present for the County were: Assessor Paulo Knutson and Erin Kastner.
No one appeared before the board to question property values.
Paul Knutson shared information about land values, property sales and permits in the county and Wells Township.
Erin Kastner provided information on two properties in Wells Township that had reason have values reduced. The Doug Blow property due to house condition and the Healy Living Trust property due to being overvalued. Jeff LaCanne moved to accept the adjusted evaluation and Rich Cap seconded the motion. The motion carried.
At 9:40 Rich Cap moved to adjourn the meeting and Jeff LaCanne seconded the motion and it carried.
