Wells Township Board Meeting Minutes, December 10 2018
Jeff LaCanne called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM. Members present were Jeff LaCanne, Rich Capp, Colin Johnson, Brandon Miller and James Zahn.
Minutes of the November 2018 meeting were read. Colin Johnson moved to accept the minutes and
Rich Cap seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Brandon Miller read the Treasurer’s report for November 2018. Jeff LaCanne moved to accept the report as printed on the attachment. Colin Johnson seconded the motion and it passed.
The bills for the month were reviewed and Colin Johnson moved to approve the bills for payment. Rich Cap seconded the motion and it carried.
Rich Cap reported that there are 10 culverts in the Elmore Ave. Elmore Trail subordinate service district. Before any blacktopping can be done 2 culverts need replacing and 1 culvert needs repair.
A member of the Faribault Sno-Go Club presented a permit request to operate their trail in the township ditch. The request was reviewed and the permit was granted.
The County advised that clean up from the Sept.20 storm would be covered by the State at 75% of approved costs and we will be asked to submit our bills soon.
The 180th court west right of way was discussed. The land owner has pushed back on clearing the right of way since it is a private road. It was decided to seek advice from the county attorney.
A resolution #2018-03 designating annual polling place in the township was reviewed. Rich Cap moved to adopt the resolution. Colin Johnson seconded the motion and it passed.
Colin Johnson moved to adjourn and Rich Cap seconded the motion and it passed.
