Old Business:

Jim Zahn reported the August 9 primary election had a very poor turnout. There were only 65 voters out of 1002 registered that voted. There was very little to vote for in the primary.

The blacktop repair projects were completed in October. Residents were happy with the work would like more done.

New Business:

Charlie Driessen presented a driveway permit request for N.W. Ridge lot 2 Block 1 French Lake Court. After reviewing the project it was approved.

Sandy Rayman asked about the culvert along French lake trail that plugs with debris when there is a heavy rain. It was decided that she should look at the possibility of some type of up stream fence to prevent the debris from plugging the culvert with Bill Homeblad of Hillside excavating and report back to the board. It was also determined that after the rain French Lake trail needed gravel where the black top ends.

Cleaning the ditch along culver Ave. was discussed and there was concern that the O’Connors would need a new driveway with a culvert.

It was also determined because of the rain Douglas Ave. needed 3 belly dumps of gravel and French Lake Trail needed 4 straight trucks of gravel.

One of the townships warning sirens is connected to power at Hoy’s Resort. The agreed to payment of $300.00 for the power was approved.

Jeff LaCanne advised that a culvert on 195th was rusted out is currently not an issue. It will need to be replaced in the near future.

Some quotes for remodeling the town hall have been received.

Building remodel including tuck pointing the basement  $24,400.00

Furnace update                $1,900.00

Electrical update                $8,000.00

Jeff LaCanne moved to adjourn the meeting and Rich Cap seconded the motion and it carried.

Respectfully Submitted
