Wells Township special meeting to tour Township roads

 

 

On Monday April 10, 2017 the Wells Town Board met at 9:00 A.M. to review and evaluate the Township roads. In attendance were Jeff LaCanne,  Rich Cap,  and James Zahn. The Township roads were driven and the findings are listed below:

 

195th Street- needs 5 belly dumps between Huston and Cashin

Douglas Avenue- 2-3 belly dumps between 195th and Wells Lake Blvd.

Wells Lake Court and Way – need seal coat

Canby Way- Culvert in swale by Hillary Caron needs to be checked, clear brush in ditch with Tiger Mower

Bixby is ok as is

Sky Line Dr Check curb & gutter

Belleview Trail Remove brush by 18545, needs load of gravel over frost boils

Canby Avenue ok south of 21. Needs 3 Belly Dumps at the north end by 9

165th Check gates and replace sign

Elgin Court – 3 end dumps ground Bituminous by 21, 2 End Dumps in S curve

Roberds Lake Trail and Dassel Avenue- waiting on response from SSD

French Lake Trail- replace culvert at 6760

175th Pot holes need repair

177th  Street. Talk to DNR about Chip Seal

Elmore Avenue patch to Chimelek’s

Elmore Trail – remove leaner over the road, fix turn around for the bus, remove tree over culvert put clay by stand pipe and rip rap

Echo &175th trim back trees

DNR road to public access on Roberds talk to DNR about chip seal

Garfield Ave 2 belly dumps by Cedar Lake Blvd

198 Court turn around holds water

190th and Garfield no road sign

Garfield Trail- Blacktop alligatored and coming apart needs 6X10 patch

Chappuis Trail- remove trees for drainage

Chappuis Ct Rich to redo

Fairbanks Avenue- 2 belly dumps on top of Sheffler’s hill

190th St and Fairbanks- Culvert

190th St- 4 belly dumps class 5 between Fairbanks and Jeff’s Dads place, 2 Belly Dumps of crushed bituminous, 2 belly dumps before trees. Dig out ditch along trees
