Wells Township Board Special Meeting Minutes November, 2015

 

On Friday November 27, 2015 the Wells Town Board met at the Wells Town Hall.

Members present were Jeff LaCanne, Rich Cap, and Jim Zahn.

 

The gravel roads of the township were driven and reviewed for issues with gravel, brush and trees.

The following are the findings from that tour.

 

Canby Avenue:

South of Highway 21: 5-6 belly dumps of gravel, need to grind brush and remove brush dumped in the ditch

North of Highway 21: 2 belly dumps from the corner, from DeGrood’s north 6-9 belly dumps

198th Street: need to replace blacktop 50-75 feet from intersection with Western Ave.

Douglas Ave.: at the intersection with 195th street need to clean the ditch

Fairbanks Ave.

South if Cedar Lake Blvd.: 2=3 belly dumps

North of Cedar Lake Blvd.: 2 belly dumps from corner of County 37 and 2 belly dumps at the intersection with 190th street. At the hill 1 belly dump and at Craig’s 5 belly dumps.  Need to clean ditches at intersection replace missing street signs.

Farwell Ave.: mow ditches and remove brush, 2 End dumps from entrance to slew past 3rd telephone pole

Garfield Ave.: 3 belly dumps

195th Street from the umbrella tree to Cashins 4 belly dumps

177th Street clear brush both sides of road and have Midwest remove Box elder tree

Elmore trail remove brush from ditches

Culver Ave: clear brush west side of the road

Elgin Court: clear brush and clean ditch.

The meeting was adjourned at the end of the tour.
